Orange: first operator to launch a 5G+ offer with dedicated bandwidth for the consumer market

After launching the special Performance series 5G+ offer for the SME and Enterprise market, Orange is expanding access to 5G+ for the consumer market with two new offers available from March 6th. 
 
A free 5G+ option to access the latest 5G+ features

Orange offers its B2C 5G customers, equipped with compatible smartphones, the opportunity to enjoy the 5G+(1) option for free.
These customers will benefit from the very high speeds of 5G+, the largest network deployed on the 3.5GHz frequency band, and will access, through this free option, to the latest functionalities:  

  • An even more responsive network thanks to reduced network latency
  • Consistent quality for all uses: voice now operates on 5G with Voice over New Radio (VoNR), as is data, to ensure consistent quality for all uses.
  • Enhanced security: 5G+ incorporates encryption of SIM card identification data, ensuring optimal protection of users' personal information.

 

The first 5G+ mobile offering on the consumer market: dedicated bandwidth, access to Netflix, and an exclusive ChatGPT Plus promotion in Europe 

This new "Special Series 180 Go 5G+" offer allows customers to benefit from the new features of 5G+, and a dedicated bandwidth.

The “Special Series 180 Go 5G+” offer, with no commitment, includes(2) : 

  • Unlimited calls, SMS, and MMS in mainland France.
  • A 180 Go plan to enjoy all entertainment uses under the best conditions.
  • Dedicated bandwidth: to guarantee quality of service and continuity of entertainment even when the 5G network is heavily used.
  • Six months of Netflix Standard with ads included, then €5.99/month(3).
  • 12 months of ChatGPT Plus for free, then €23/month(4) : the extended version of the essential AI for writing text, generating code, images, and videos. This is the first offer of its kind in Europe.

 

The “Special Series 180 Go 5G+” benefits from the “Cheat Code(5)” discount for new customers aged 18 to 26 with a compatible 5G+ mobile.

With the “Cheat Code” refund, the offer is priced at €25/month and €20/month for Orange Internet customers once the refund request is validated.

For customers who don’t have a 5G+ compatible smartphone, Orange is currently offering a refund(6) of up to €150 on the purchase of a Samsung Galaxy S25 Series.
